One of Sri Lanka’s largest apparel exporters was
able to identify areas that needs improvements
using Emojot. This multinational manufacturer has
an 80,000 plus workforce spread across 30 plus
manufacturing facilities around Asia. The company is
specialized in the design, merchandising, sales and
marketing of a variety of lifestyle branded wear.
COMPANY SUMMARY
The company had the requirement to view employee
engagement of each and every sub company and drill
down the same to section level in order to facilitate
decision making. The existing system was followed
by a sequential processing of information. This
made decision makers dependent on time as it was
paper based leading delayed decision making. Also,
this resulted in delayed identication of operational
issues resulting in troubleshooting time lags.

sensors via email, sms, any social media channel to engage with your
customers/employees/audience.
According to research, it is proven happier the
employees, more productive them in the work
place. When employees are engaged at work, they
feel a connection with the company. They believe that
the work theyre doing is important and therefore work
harder. Identifying key issues which leads to employee
dissatisfaction, necessary solutions could be provided to make
the environment more friendly and suitable for the employees.
KEY FINDINGS
With the help of Emojot, the company was able to nd out how their
employees felt across all manufacturing plants around the country.
The overall satisfaction of employees stood at around 80% which was
a complete eye opener for the company. They further drilled down
to areas such as meals provided, transport services and overall feel
about the work environment. Here it was brought to light that 44% of
their employees were satised with the meals provided. And 74% of
employees felt that the transportation service was satisfying. However,
25% of the employees felt that the work environment wasn’t satisfying.
This is an area of concern for the company which can be further drilled
down in future to scrutinize work environment issues that could be
addressed on a case by case basis. Overall these insights helped them
understand the sentiments of their employees which was a big step
towards greater employee engagement.
In order to cater this requirement, Emojot created a set of focused questions to
get the feedback of the employees. The sentiment analysis platform oers the
